Out of curiosity, shouldn't the M17 have the safety? I thought all of the 'true' M17's had the safety on it seeing as that's how its issued to the army. Any other one I have ever seen also had the safety, just wondering if this was an option to have it without?

For commercial. SIG P320 M17 offers 2 models, one with safety and one without. However, the SIG M17 commemorative version has a safety (same version what military uses).
