DPMS, Bushmaster, Storm Lake, and Tapco are closing their doors.

We were made aware of this a couple weeks ago at Shotshow and received confirmation this morning that the Remington Outdoor Company has closed the DPMS, Bushmaster, Storm Lake, and Tapco lines.

There products will no longer be produced.

It is an end to a great era.

Common sense is so rare today, it should be considered a super power.

Pretty much... sales are VERY slow down there as everyone has stocked up. Virtue-signalling hurt Bushmaster after the tragedy of Sandy Hook. Too bad as less manufactured parts will increase cost of those now available. I quite liked the Storm Lake pistol upgrades too...

I was thinking the same thing - is someone picking up that model in the Remington group?
Gun control defined: The theory that people who are willing to ignore laws against rape, kidnapping, theft, and murder will obey a law which prohibits them from owning a firearm.

That's an interesting question, it would be nice if they did civilian sales of the remington ACR with the metal lower, but that's a dream

Sounds like remington is sticking around so the military ACR's will probably still be around, just not the bushmaster civilian ones.
