    These stocks have been around for a couple years, Tenda had them at one time. They increase the length of pull and have a decent recoil pad. Might be worth the buck for some people.

    Yes, I know that. I have an SKS or two, or ten but the bayo when closed is what pushes the rod up into that clip you described. The clip then captures the rod while the bayos pressure on it keeps it from rattling around in the clip. Once you release the bayo from it's home or deployed position the pressure on the cleaning rod is gone allowing the user to remove the rod from the clip.

    I agree that if I bought one of these I'd remove the cleaning rod and bayo lug altogether.
