If marxists and socialists were against guns,
why did Karl Marx encourage firearm ownership? Why did we start a chapter of the
Socialist Rifle Association in Canada, filled with diversity a Liberal could only dream of virtue-signaling about? Ohh, that's right, because we're not gun-grabbing
neo-liberals. IMHO, this is a dog whistle for people that are
alienated by our broken system, and need
someone different to blame for their problems. I'm not passing judgement but pointing out a long-standing pattern that this behaviour stems from a lack of recognition that their grievances are the result of our
self-serving neo-liberal political parties that don't represent us. We're all pawns for our leader's political career. These petty squabbles between left/right/center are tools to divide us and distract from the reality of our oppression. Please, let's stay united because we're all in this together !
Think about it, our economy is going to scheite alongside our
political process. Many of us have lost our employment in the oil sector, our teachers and police are already feeling the pinch of austerity and our manufacturing sector isn't far behind. The rich owner-class (which compose the ruling-class) could
never represent the working-class, because they never worked minimum-wage for a day in their life. They would lower minimum-wage in a heartbeat if they could get away with it.
A proper socialist party would have ample social programs to retrain our destitute workers and ease their transition into gainful employment in a new green economy, but instead we're left with skyrocketing debt and a housing crisis causing large parts of the middle-class to become homeless. Teachers, Doctors and Police cannot afford to live in the city. My endocrinologist drives 600km to Toronto everyday, to go to work, because she practically lives in her car. I can't tell you how many homeless Torontonians I've met living in a shanty in the woods next to a reserve, 1200km from Toronto. People are getting desperate and having nothing left to lose, violence and riots isn't far behind if our government doesn't smarten up and fix the problems they've collectively created. I'm not surprised the city is ripe with violence,
it's to be expected. I can't imagine the hardship our public servants are experiencing,
considering they're not getting paid for their labour.
Why do you think they're trying to buy back our long guns? They're not worried about
smuggled prohibs in Toronto, they're trying to
keep us pacified like mainland China, while we're
turning into Brazil, by injecting money through disarmament rather than employment. As for the whole issue concerning "divorce", I don't think the US will be happy with
Balkanization on their borders because it will lead to violence and political instability. We're better off as a united federation but our government is making damn sure we're all equally phoqued over
except their financial interests, ofcourse. But, if you really want to leave our federation and
fly an american battle flag, SVP crisser ton camp en paix.
Does anyone actually want to keep the monarchy? Seriously, this has to be a joke right ? You can keep your pedophile princes, I'll keep my Obrez, thank you very much.
George Orwell fought alongside socialists to protect democracy and fight the fascist scourge, during the Spanish Civil War. He later regretted not fighting for the
federalist libertarian socialists specifically because the authoritarian socialists phoqued them over, HARD, and even called him a fascist for
opposing the soviets influence. Please think back to history class, how WW1 lead to WW2. Germany was a democratic republic but when their economy collapsed, so did their democracy which lead to a multi-term rule by an authoritarian coward who would stop at nothing, except by his own hand.
Please learn from history, and never trust an authoritarian statist of any shape or colour or their promises of the benefits from divorce because they're lying by omission about the hardships associated while everyone stuck in the middle
except their capital, ofcourse.
