    Introduction to PRS Shooting One day class at East Elgin Sportsmen's Association With the growth of long range shooting and interest in The Precision Rifle Series style matches Ken Thiessen of Bulls Eye London and Ryan Mclean of Cadex Defence have teamed up to run an Introduction to PRS Match shooting. Ken and Ryan have been competing in Precision Rifle, PRS and fclass for the past 7 years. We have competed all over the eastern seaboard. In the past 4 years we have run the ORA Precision Rifle program, the Meaford Long Range Steel Challenge, Canadian Sharpshooter Classic and Petawawa PRS club series. The format will consist of all in class instruction On March 7th at the East Elgin Sportsmen's Association from 8:30 till early afternoon. The clinic will focus on the basics of PRS style shooting, with an emphasis on gear selection, equipment set up, and match prep. Seats will be limited so sign up early. Cost for the day will be $80 and will give you a head start for your first match. Some of the topics that will be covered are : 1.Equipment selection from calibers, stocks/chassis, actions, etc. 2.Scope: Lingo, FFP vs SFP, MOA vs Mil, utilizing your reticle, proper set up. 3. Gear: bags, slings, dope holders, packs, binos, etc. 4. Preparing for a match: dry fire, Practice, Mental, etc. 5. Preparing for a stage: dial or hold, make a plan and stick to it 6. RO, safety commands and match etiquette 7. Wind reading basic and ballistics.

    I highly recommend this clinic as Ken and Ryan ran a similar one here in Petawawa a couple years ago and it was very well ran and informative ...definitely very good training and well worth the small fee .
