It would be fantastic if ATRS made a dedicated AR9 receiver set on the Sporter platform which takes Glock mags.

Comments?
 
I would if it didn't look like a AR15. I want a MPX carbine but with a 2.5k price tag I can't justify it. At 1500 for a 9mm carbine I would definitely be in. But it can't look dinky like a jr carbine.....just me tho.
 
They can't make enough receivers to fulfill their current orders.

Back-orders are running years deep.

Why on earth would they stop production to start making PCCs instead?

That's not a reasonable comparison at all, but whatever floats your boat... That's on par to me comparing a 9mm receiver set to a 9mm chiappa m1...
 
Best case is ATRS expands production (doubtful based on political climate) and they get caught up with MS orders so they are "off the shelf" items. Then they make a dedicated PCC lower with a magwell for Glock mags that accepts the MS upper and maybe Ambi controls too.. Maybe they make the MS lowers for Ambi controls like those radian receivers.

Maybe one day. I'd love to see the MS become as common as a SKS in Canada.
 
There are several 9mm non-restricted AR style carbines out there. One, that I can think of, that uses all the same controls as an AR. There is no non-restricted .22LR that uses the controls of an AR.
