Welcome to CGN. The registration process is simple, compared to trying to post pictures! I'm still trying to do it, but I'm very computer illiterate.

After more than 15 years of uninterupted operation that membership number is inflated. Lots of those likely haven't signed on in years. Regular users is a fraction of that.

I've been here a while, so I don't know how rigorous the sign up process is, but whatever steps are there are done to weed out spies and abusers.

As for pics, I've never understood why some have so much trouble figuring them out. You simply host the photos on the internet somewhere, then put a link to that host in your post.

Posting pics is easy. Either buy a CGN basic membership or use an third party image hosting site. Not computer savvy myself but it wasn't that hard to figure one out.
Access to the EE can only be accomplished by showing participation in the various forums on CGN that are open to you. No participation = no EE access.
