I worry more about my 2 young kids and my parents getting sick and needing to go to an overburdened hospital, I have stocked up on kids meds, vitamins, etc. And the last time I had the flu I stayed home in bed for a week and sent the family to the cottage, no biggie but I'm going to remain cautious.

It's not just covid19 on its own if someone requires to go to emergency they might get exposed just waiting in line, Or, you'd need to designate a separate area for containment purposes of covid vs other stuff.

This year the death rate from the flu in North America is .05%. Only 1% required hospitalization. That is nothing compared to what we are learning about covid 19. If it spreads widely, there could be 46 times more deaths than from the flu.

Put a 0 behind that 1%. For the 10 people that died, 9 of them are undiagnosed and their bodies cremated right away following biohazard protocol. You know they dont have it under control and already lost count when they turn their hospital basement into a big giant body pile.
