Right now we only have plans for the 45/410 combo. We can certainly explore the option of other combos in the future if there is enough demand for them.

Pedersoli is finalising the last specs on this firearm and since this firearm is being designed for the Canadian market, we would like your feedback on the following info and questions:

    1. The .45 L.C. Hot caliber, this caliber does not exist within the C.I.P, however, PD did some researches and found that in USA there are reloaders of this “wildecut” caliber.
Therefore, the Proof House will prepare .45 L.C. cartridges that develop the max pressure of 25000 P.S.I.

    2. The bullets used for these cartridges will be 240/250 grains.

    3. At what distance do you want the shots to group? Between 20 and 50 meters?

    4. What should we call this gun? HOWDAH Canuck?

    5. The gun will be classified as a double rifle

    6. We have 2 options for the finish on this firearm:

    A. Case hardened frame and metal parts, blue barrel, walnut stock, oil finish.

    B. Chromed frame, chromed barrels outside, special finish for the stock with black coating that has a very good grip. See Pic below:

    7. Double or single trigger?

    8. Ramp front sight? or bead?

    9. Type of rear sight?

    10. Sling swivels?

Since I started that tread I will go first and let others chime in later

1 - 50 meter should be fine for regulation
    2- Canadian survival howdas rifle
3- A finish, blue case hardened receiver, walnut stock (prince of whale pistol grip or straight english), oil
    stock with checkering
    4- Double trigger
5- Ramp front sight with rear express flip-up sight to 100m
    6- Sling swivel U.S. size

I see that rifle as a refine small to med game rifle that will be a joy to carry and be vesatile!

As a side note if the 45 heavy does not exist in CUP standard a .44 magnum or 45-70 would do just fine and would be ok with .410 shotshell ! A plus would be ammo selection of cartridges and price !

    Ok. My 2c.

    3) 50 Meters
    6) Chromed frame etc. I really like that look.
    7) Single Trigger
    8) brass Bead front sight
    9) Express Style flip up v notch rear sight with white vertical line a the bottom of the v (or similar outline). Flip ups express style with graduated ranges perhaps in 25 meter intervals out to 100 meters or so.
    10) no sling swivels.

Now I’m getting really excited about this concept. Noting like it on the Canadian market and I for one need such a rifle in my life.

I must add though... I don’t see any “bad options” among the potential configurations and I’d be more then happy either way.

I second these suggestions. Rear sight would be great with a Lee Speed type express sight rather than the flip up multiple lines of 10/22 type sights.

    I'd prefer 44/20g but that's just me

    Common guys add input

What's your pick? What kind of stock ? English? Pistol grip?

Barrel lenght? 16 inches? Longer? Shorter?

Caliber is set at 45 colt plus P and 410 !

Would you rather have stainless or deep blue finish ?
