Yeah man pharmaceuticals are one of the biggest worries. 100% correct. Asking your doctor for a few months of essential meds should be a priority for people who need em. In the next few weeks skeptical people will start to see what this is really going to do.

anyone looking for oxygen absorbers - you can use non chemical hand warmers .. check the ingredient listing .. if they have iron in them they are the same as oxygen absorbers (but maybe more expensive). I bought a bulk supply of oxygen absorbers (food grade) that came packaged in bags of 100. Once opened, even after a couple minutes, they started to generate heat. As soon as they were vacume sealed in with the food the heat generation ceased. Rust = ferrous oxide.

The one good thing about not having 02 absorbers for our immediate concerns, is you wont have the food stored long enough to need them.

With all this people may actually wake up and live a little like days gone buy and learn to start gardening at home learn to do there own preserves and raise a few chickens. This looks good on modern society me and my close friends and family need not worry about food shortages. Time to wake up folks

Not the end of the world yet no. But we are at the point we are all going to be affected at least somewhat. The damage has been done already. Hopefully it doesnt get even worse.
    Not only that,
There is another thread that talks about the shortage of n95 masks. In that thread someone posted that acklands grainger is sold out of them 'due to a worldwide shortage' as their site states. Acklands, being a supplier for many companies in Canada, how is it going to affect the economy when these companies that require them as PPE for their employees in regular day to day work no longer can get them? They can't send their employees into 'unsafe work environments' without the proper gear so will they shut down and send everybody home?

This, and I can't count how many people are still licking their fingers at cash registers and when opening produce bags before squeezing every freaking fruit/vegetable. Human habits are disgusting, no wonder virus' thrive in us.
