Is the new 4.5-27 forge much better than the older elite 6500 4.5-30?

As the Elite 6500 were manufactured in Japan at LOW, it is hard to beat the quality and value in that line. That being said, with the 3500/4500/6500 lines being discontinued, the Forge pack a lot of modern features in a well made chassis. First or second focal plane, several excellent tactical reticles, close focusing parallax, repeatable turrets, and solid glass deliver excellent value, particularly at these discounts.

It feels like bushnell is going full Britney Spears crazy and I can't keep up with their model changes and stuff. I won't spend that kind of money on a new scope that has no track record.
Giant sale from them means they need to stir up sales. I'm not the only one that feels that way.
