Russian Surplus 7.62x39 Ammo, the good, the bad, and the ugly

Market size. Same reason we don't get most of the cool stuff you can get in the US
 
The problem with brass cased is some of the SKS actually are too hard on brass and the necks get ripped off in the chamber. Bolt guns definitely wld like some brass and non steel jackets.

Mostly fixed by adjusting the exhaust port in the gas tube, helps them to not knock the eye out of the poor schmuck shooting next to ya!:)
