I've carried this insurance for a few years myself. Definitely gives me peace of mind. I typically renewed via CCFR though. Disappointed I am not able to at this time.

Just so you're aware this is not the same coverage you would have purchased through the CCFR. Firearm Legal Defence is the original creator of this coverage and as of November 2019 , its the only coverage of its kind in Canada. When you purchase a policy through FLD you can rest even easier then before as the limits are higher, coverage is broader and cost is lower. We also show support to all firearms association members by offering a $10 discount so don't forget to use your respective code CSSA001 / NFA001 /CCFR001. Took about 2 minutes to renew, another 2 for the documents to show up.
The downside of learning stuff is that it makes me realize how much I don't know.
I should still have coverage for a few months through CCFR but I’ll be looking at this for when that coverage expires.

I got that last year . I believe it would be beneficial if they notify you when your insurance expires , so you could renew it again!!
They do . several times right up to the end of your current policy .
Renewed mine last month .
Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.

Yes we send out 3 separate renewal reminders as well as a phone call follow up should your policy lapse. If you think your policy is expired send me an email at zschwing@capricmw.ca and I can double check for you.
