What is the rail on the receiver? Is it 11 mm dovetail? What are those round patterns?

Yes,
A standard 11mm Dovetail receiver, drilled and tapped as well.
The machined pattern on the top of the rail is purely cosmetic, to take away the plain look of the top of the receiver.
Anschutz have done this for years on this model, its also found on other models.

Hi Brad, what would be the difference from a 1712 model, other than the SS barrel?
