Hmm, no cheek rest on a precision rifle.
    What are the specs?
He can't shoot like that with a stock Savage and a Bushnell scope

A forward assist on a precision rifle, so you can slam it in when your precision rifle gets too dirty to function.

I think the bigger question is why are others not NR....

Short storie receiver slant cut.....long story atrs built the modern hunter with enough difference to the ar10 to get it approve non restricted. But they where(are) really expensive, in the 4000$ range. The NEA with a "tour de force" leaning on the ar102 lineage introduce the NEA 102, it had many issues but with a starting pri e just under two grand it knee capped the Modern hunter! It was regarded buy many as well inferior but a great starting point as you could change the barrel and expect great accuracy!

The game then got change again by Stag arms and there Stag 10 rifle, I will not go into the introduction debacle that insued.... but the rifle proved solid and with not any of the problem that 5 or 6 generation of NEA/BCL 102 had. The best part was the stag was price depending on the model $1800-2200; basically douing the same thing to NEA now BCL that it did to ATRS! now bcl had to respond buly dropping the price of there 102 to around $1500. Wen with even that price drop they weren't moving BCL released there MK7 with new improve materials more standard ar10 compatibility and a supposedly way better gun! With that they effectively killed the value of all there remaining 102 they had for sale with price thanking as low as $1250 for a new gun! Il tell you I would hate to be the poor guy that paid $1000 for those vare receivers on introduction!

Now in this last chapter we have bcl who , coreect me if I am wrong sold the 102 rifle so that Troy could also churn out questionable rifles and we have IRG and 2 other compagnie that have come out with NR receivers.
