Damn I was just a little late for this. Any way of still taking advantage?

Doe your 1911 cut have to have that plate with the rear sight, or can it still use its rear sight? Does it need/can it have, a glock rear sight cut be placed in front of the rmr (and the rmr be directly mounted to the slide)
Thanks

Right now we cut your slide to receive the Trijicon 1911 RMR plate as 1911/2011 pistols are too inconsistent mechanically speaking for us to engineer direct mounts. The was designed years ago (well before the SRO) so it has built in co-witness sights for an RMR patterned optic. It's only offered in a single configuration with the rear iron behind the optic.
Forward of 2020 we're evaluating Dawson/STI's new 'DUO' plate, Agency Arms' AOS system, and likely one of those two will become our new standard as we're hoping to offer clients the best case technical solution/options for their pistols as the market is expanding quickly for optic solution/offerings.
