    30/06
61gr D4350SSC 150TTSX RP brass gives 2870 fps whereas the same charge of H4350 in this load gives 3125 fps. There isn't any more room in the case so that's that.

    6.5 RM
54gr D4350SSC 143 ELDX RP brass gives 3020 fps with slight pressure signs whereas the same velocity is achieved with the same charge weight of RL 22, no pressure.

    6mm Rem
45gr D4350SSC 105 RDF WW brass gives 3040 fps whereas the same velocity is achieved with 43 gr H4350.

So my guess that this is significantly slower than the 4350's I have played with. To the point it is out of room in some cases like the 30/06.

FYI The lab test shows 53grains in 270 win at 2826fps with a 150gr SGK. Pretty much bang on IMR website load data. Maybe H4350 is a bit faster.

I shot the IMR powders I have on hand and compared it to the D4350SSC. All same charge weights of 53 gr.

    TC Icon 270 Winchester 24" barrel RP brass 150gr SST @ 3.25"

    53 gr IMR 4350 3010 fps
    53 gr IMR 4831 2937 fps
    53 gr D4350SSC 2791 fps
    53 gr IMR 7828 2703 fps

Looks slower than 4831 to me. Somewhere in between 4831 and 7828.

I played with the D4350ssc in a couple rifles today. It’s definitely slower than imr 4350 but not by that much. I think I’ll use max imr data as a starting point for future load work. My opinion, you do you.
Chrony readings were very consistent, the best of the 4 powders I was working with. I think it will be a nice fit for a lot of small/med magnums.

This seems to be consistent with my test findings, although different powder. I loaded 308/168 HPBT for my Rem 700, 42 grn of IMR4064 produced 2640 FPS, then I loaded it with DA4064 SSC, same 42 grn load but only 2540 FPS. Then different rifle but the same caliber and bullet, IMR4064 @43.8 produced 2775 FPS but when DA4064-SSC loaded at 44.4, which is slightly higher load but produced only 2740 FPS. These Dominion powders shoot well and produce good groups but seem to produce lower velocities compared to typical OEM IMR powders. If the price is right, you can still load good quality ammo but it definitely travels slower.
