I have tried it in my 16" 308 1/10 bolt with hornady 168bthp and best groups were .75" @ 37gr early pressure signs at 40.5gr in mil cases.

16" .223 1/7 bolt with hornady 75 bthp best groups were .772" with 21.8gr no pressure signs through 22.7gr in federal brass.

D4198 shot very well with 55+62 bulks @0.3"/1" even my 1/7 barrel.
Was hoping 8208 would be a close replacement for varget, so far not great in 2 of my rigs. Would gladly trade 10lbs I have for more D4064 or D4895

No chrony, the .308 37gr was the low node, high node was starting at just over 41gr but pressure was bad. .223 21.8 was was on the high node.
Might tinker with the 8208 a bit more and see how well it groups out to 200-300

Is there a website for these powders from the manufacturer? Looking for temperature stability info on them.
"People who have never owned or used one claim that the Remington pump guns are not as accurate as their bolt guns.

And the people who own and shoot them just chuckle at those statements."

Just the info Canada Ammo has. Made in Canada. I would think the temp stability would be close to the IMR line of powders.

So absolutely terrible. Alright, thanks for the response!

Most temperature sensitivity issues seem overblown to me. A magnum primer usually fixes the "issue". I have tried several "extreme" powders and haven't been impressed with the difference. I just buy whatever is cheapest that will produce the results I desire. I don't compete though so maybe I'm just easy to please.

    I'm happy with it.
    43gr D4350ssc.
    6.5 creed. 140gr SST.
    2620avg fps.
I'm curious as to what your barrel length is for that velocity and how full your case was. Was it a compressed load at 43 gr?

I have a decent load with Win Staball 6.5 that's 2600 fps and I have some really good load data for it. It's just become a huge pain to find in anything more than 1 lb jugs. I'm looking to replace it with D4350 but have heard some mixed things on the velocity I might be able to get from it.

    24" Rem 783.

I actually don't recall if it was a compressed load. I would say if it was not by much. I don't generally crunch powder.
Like it has been said here before. It is slower than IMR. By about 2grs in the Creed.

When the powder was first tried out. I wasn't overly impressed. But after some work it seems to be alright. Might get 1 more.

Would like some more of that 4064!

Appreciate all the testing data guys.

Looking to ideally pick one of the Dominion powers to work in bot .223 & .308

    Ideally thinking:

.308, most likely Sierra 175 gr 22" bbl

.223 most likely Barnes TSX .70 gr 16" bbl (possibly Sierra .77 gr match king)

Thinking D4895 might be a good middle ground.
    Any thoughts appreciated.
