Order in and shipped out same day! Picked up some D5744 for some short barrel loads.

look up hodgedon.com and see what they publish for load data, then cross reference what they have available and see if there are some options for you. A 30/06 case should be fairly easy to come up with options, but your application and planned bullet weight make 'recommending' a powder useless without that information. If you have minimal reloading experience, it would probably be worth going to the local GS and asking for some recommendations and buying a few 1lb cans over the counter to try rather than develop a load with canister grade powder. Canister grade powders are not quite the same (necessarily) as, say, RL16. They will not have the same lot to lot consistency in particular. They might be just as consistent, but they aren't given the same QA/QC testing as the retail powders are.

Canister grade powders are what you buy from your LGS. It's OEM powders that can vary quite a bit from the reloading manual data and is what Canada Ammo sells.

You CAN get blood from a stone...... IF you throw it hard enough.
