I was searching for a replacement for Varget and N-150 powder I use in 308 Win. It’s now about impossible to find.

So I decided to order D-4064 and test it.

Very please so far, developed 3 load, two with 168 grain and one with 178 grain. Very good result single digit SD. I was amazed at the speed I could reach with the 178 grain bullets. Never reached high pressure area.
It’s a quality product. It's made 20 minutes from home . Weird, they sent their production to usa , they brand it, and shipt it back at higher price with IMR tag…
    Thanks Canada Ammo

Maybe in the future, but it was the slowest selling in the line. Too big to meter well

I was holding off while I was trying to source other powders but I did intend to buy lots and lots of both 700/800x. They aren't ideal but I have used both in the past with great success. 800x will meter out of some throwers much better than others. I haven't had any issues with 700x metering. I loaded 5000 rounds of excellent .38sp ammunition years ago with it. I'm sorry to hear about the wait on more powders but I'm glad I got what I could. D4198 and D4064SSC have been working perfectly for me so far. Too bad I'm near the end of both in my stocks.
