I wasn’t sure where to end my chrono test, but I may try a little higher next week. The primers looked like they could be abused more. Lol!
The load before it was similar. 22.6 grains @ 2520 fps. Just 5 fps slower than the 22.8 gn load. I’ll test 22.7 and try groups.
I haven’t shot the 140’s with the dominion powders but the 120’s shot well with the d4064sc

Forgot to mention, fwiw, using the same reloading process, here is a comparison between Varget and this latest batch of D4064. Using .223 caliber, 90gn JLK and close to freezing air temps.
Varget (purchased Dec 2020, 1091720 7225)
22.7 gn...... 2539 fps
23.0 gn...... 2539 fps
D4064 (purchased March 2021, Lot #18):
22.6 gn...... 2520 fps
22.8 gn...... 2525 fps
I don't know if it'll be as close using other bullet weights in other temps, but I found it interesting.

A free society must outlaw harming innocent people to function, but when we seek to curtail what all of us can do, rather than holding each of us responsible for what we actually do, we give up on freedom itself.
