just unboxed mine and I'm quite pleased. Bit heavier than I'd like but I'll live with it, given the mail-in rebate the only thing missing would be something to cover the glass. If anyone has suggestions or links to where i can get something to protect the glass id be appreciative.

    cheers

Got mine today after ordering Thursday night. Very fast shipping. Seems nice. The illumation is visible in daylight but doesn't glow like a red dot. Turrets click nicely with a half cm at 100yd adjustment. They have just a little bit of wiggle but the clicks are quite firm.

Some websites seemed to imply it has a zero stop but that doesn't seem to be the case.

The 1x seems pretty darn close to true, much better than my 1-4 bushnell. I wish the eyebox was just a little more forgiving at 8x but once its on a rifle and have a way to get consistent eye placement, I might change my tune.

Overall the glass seems very clear and it seems pretty solid. Hard to tell just how good without actually trying it out on a rifle, especially in low light, but I'm looking forward to it. Ring options seem pricey.

    Thanks for the deal Durham.

MDT has some 34mm medium rings for 99.95 for the pair. Very nice rings I have a set of the 30mm medium rings on a rifle.

I cancelled my order but am now getting cancellation remorse. I just didn’t like the lack of reviews online or info. Can anyone talk me back into this? 34mm tube and ED glass is just crazy at this price so hence why I’m sticking around longer

I don't have mine yet, but a brand name 1-8 at that price you can't go wrong.

    Bushnell isn't Nightforce, but $500 also isn't $2500.

Got mine in. Nice eyebox, nice eye relief. Ordered two. Will go great on my 9.3 and 375 Ruger. Wouldnt make a bad AR scope either, despite it being a tad heavy.
    Glass looks decent.
    Made in Korea.
Only gripe is the turrets, not the best tactile clicks and, while you can "reset" them to zero once you sight in your gun, the lines may not align perfectly which is a little annoying. You'll see what I mean when you get it.
Overall, looks like a great scope for the money, if it functions well.
    Now to field test.

Also, I concur on the above post re MDT rings. Lightweight alum. Have 3 sets of them, work great, good quality. Also got those in 34mm for this scope.

I really want to like this optic but that reticle just kills me. Any functional hold overs, stadia, or anything else and I would buy one, but this is a pure hunting reticle and I can’t do it.

However, looking at the specs, this is an amazing deal for a 34mm 1-8 optic. It’s just not an AR optic for me. If there are other options available in the future, please snap them up, Durham!

I'm in the same boat, looking at the primary arms 1-8, but it's totally in a different price point. Better reticle, I'd order a couple of these.

Just unboxed mine. For the money it’s well worth it. It will likely go on my .458 socom bolt action. I agree, not the most functional reticle, would have liked some hash marks, but it will be fine for a close range thumper. Or maybe my new smokeless rem 700 muzzleloader. Turret clicks are really nice, and the big tube gathers lots of light. I almost want to order another one.
