    Heritage rough rider rancher

I know youve brought in rough riders in the past and i just came across the rancher. Does this have non restricted status up here. If so is this something you could bring in?

A quick search for Heritage rifle in the FRT yields no results.

Doesn't look like any have been imported yet.

A search of just "Heritage" brought up 10 handguns, just to confirm my first search.

I would think based on other lines of revolver turned rifles like the Alfa Projs it would likely be considered a variant and still deemed to be a handgun, but I could be wrong.

The frame is clearly different from the handguns, so it SHOULD be NR.

The ruling on this could go either way.

There's literally precedent in both directions on guns like these.

Yep. Love to get one, my father would get a kick out of them.

If the hammer slips, will the gun fire without the trigger being pulled? I like how on the wranger, the hammer can only contact the firing pin when the trigger is pulled.
The wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept

We have that question placed with the Ottawa lab. Considering we've had a Huglu XR7 mag fed shotgun with them for 18 months now, we do not expect a prompt answer.
