Well .22 rimfire matches often go to 300 meters or beyond there is quite alot of adjustment needed for a scope. Im runnung a 30MOA rail on my setup

For that kind of $$$$ I would spend a little more & go with an Anschutz MPR.

It is a different package, so maybe not very good comparison, at least not direct. Tikka T1X MTR wold be somewhere between the CZ 457 Synthetic Stock and CZ 457 LRP. I am sure they did that on purpose so that they would not compete head to head.

do these come with a 1" moa guarantee like the 457 mtr, and wouldn't you have pretty much the same long distance ability with the 20" mtr and a 25 moa rail? Just asking because I like the price and the walnut stock on the mtr more.

Yes they do. They are not the same beast. But they are sort of an evolution of the MTR. We just got a couple of the MTRs in as well. If you prefer wood stock over the tactical stock then MTR is definitely a good choice.

The LRP is one sweet little rifle, i bought mine from Tesro and it is wicked accurate. I have been using federal bulk box and it is printing nice groups at 50 and 100 yd ranges. I would like to try some match ammo and see what it is capable of. I was picking rocks off the back berm at my local range at 200 to 220 yards using 6 mil holdover on the scope reticle. This is one fun gun to shoot!

Are you able to confirm what the stock is made of? I read on one site that it was painted wood, and another site showed it as painted beech.
