SiG Sauer IOP - program now on hold due to import ban

MD Charlton & SiG Sauer would like to take this time to thank all of our Front Line Health Care Workers. Your work is very much appreciated and you are all of our Heros. Thank you for keeping us safe and putting yourself in danger to look after us, our friends and families.

While we all go through this together we would like to extend the IOP program to include all Front Line Healthcare Workers. With your Hospital or Provincial Healthcare worker ID we would like to say thank you and include you into this program.

The IOP forms are available at your local SiG Sauer Dealer or by emailing iop@mdcharlton.ca If your dealer does not have one or is not aware of the changes you can refer them here or have them contact their MD Charlton/SiG Sauer Representative. There are some select SiG Sauer firearms on this program and it offers a discount as our way of saying "Thank You For Your Service".

You simply choose your firearm, fill out the form and provide your ID to the Dealer of your choosing. They in turn order the firearm and receive the discount on your behalf. If in stock it will ship immediately and if not it may take several weeks.

Thank you and Stay Safe Everyone.

I think that's a difficult question to answer, nationally there is quite the difference in delivery model of care. In my city, fire fighters are not responding to medical calls because of COVID, it's for a sensible reason as to conserve PPE and limit exposure. So in the context of this outbreak, they are at the same risk as any lay citizen. In my city, where I work. That being said, I understand that some provinces utilize the firemedic model and in that case, absolutely. They are one in the same.
