I love my Yeti cups and use them daily. Dunno about the coolers personally, as there are comparable options on the market for cheaper. Their drinkware is the best out there though imho. I think their bucket is silly, but once you get hands on with it you'll see it's not just a $5 Home Depot bucket. Would I buy one? No. Do I kinda sorta get why it's expensive? Yes.

If you have a problem, and you think someone else is going to fix it for you; you actually have two problems.

Not to get political, in fact, i stopped reading replies here, but wanted to chime in.
I've attended a couple of conferences and we were given yeti tumblers, im drinking from mine right now.
Pretty overhyped, I have some other mugs/bottles and these would be the second most expensive if I had paid for them but they are nothing special. Best things i have for keeping my coffee hot or a cold drink ice cold are thermal bottles by zojirushi.

I am in the market for a good quality cooler, any suggestions? I realize there are tons of yeti alternatives

Yeti is based out of Texas. They are also big supporters of the hunting industry. Anyone who says they're anti gun needs to find sources beyond the NRA, a bunch of their brand ambassadors are hunters.

Fact - Yeti started distancing from NRA after Parkland shooting. When gun owners started blowing 1.3k coolers online they started doing damage control, no different then what Duck Unlimited did. Sell what you want but personally I would have bought Pelican stuff instead.

Really? I've got a bunch of their stuff and it's all designed in Texas but made in Chi-nah.

Yeah I really like the mugs but the coolers/lunchbags seem way overpriced. I bought a woods rotomolded cooler last year for about half the price and so far I'm very happy with it.

We carry Pelican as well, but to be honest, when we had pelican mugs next to yeti... even though yeti is more $$, people grabbed the yeti 20 to 1....
