A lot of information has come to light today. And unfortunately, the firearms community has seen better days. We know many of you are looking to us for answers and guidance. We promise you, once we have more information, we will do our best to provide as clear of communication as possible as soon as we can.

There are a few answers we can provide to you today in regards to how we, Wolverine Supplies will be handling our affected customer orders:

Any orders for affected Non-Restricted firearms that haven’t been shipped yet, you will be contacted, your order will be cancelled and you will be issued a full refund.

In regards to any affected firearm that you have taken possession of, or that is currently in transit to you - it is our understanding at this time - that we cannot take back possession of that product.

If you have an outstanding transfer for restricted firearm on ban list, it will be withdrawn, your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded.

There are two implementations that have been brought to our attention; compensation and grandfathering, both are “alleged” but there have been no specific details have been given to us at this time.

It is our understanding that the firearms listed within the OIC can no longer in any way shape or form, be transported, purchased or sold in any capacity.

Above and beyond, this is not a permissive OIC, which means these firearms can no longer be used in any way during the amnesty period. So we advise you to at this time, if you are in possession of an effected firearm, to put it securely into storage and wait for further instruction on what’s next.

Please bear with us as we work our way through this situation. We will do our best to communicate any new information to you as soon as we have it. We can’t stress enough that in these times of uncertainty, we must remain strong and united as a firearms community.

We at Wolverine Supplies stand with you, the Canadian firearms community as we always have and we always will. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us directly - we are here, and we will do our best to provide any information to you that we can, but please be patient as we are also working this as a business.

Compensation, if any, has to go through Parliament, it’s a money bill

Perhaps Wolverine can make update posts in locked threads? Because these ones become so cluttered quickly.

It doesnt appear to apply to natives only. Read the wording carefully. Could easily be interpreted as applying to hunters.

    (http://www.gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p2/20...hRwPSHcri8Ng):
In addition, 1.3 million Canadians participate in legal hunting. These owners may also be affected if they have been using a newly prohibited firearm that was previously nonrestricted. If they have been using such a firearm for sustenance hunting or to exercise a right affirmed in section 35 of the Constitution, they may continue to use their firearm for the same purpose, until the end of the amnesty period. Hunting contributes an estimated $4.1 billion to Canada’s GDP as well as $2 billion in labour income, and supports about 33 313 full-time equivalent jobs.

I just watched the Turd and Blair tell me that there is no need for these rifles in Canada for hunting and are only used to kill the most people in a short period of time, but natives hunt with them HMMMMM
