STAG-10 Upper Completion Question POST BAN

Since legally you cannot sell the Stag-10 upper receivers anymore, assuming the aluminum forging part will be the prohibited upper portion, can you still sell us the remaining components to those of us that bought the upper/lower combos?

I can't see any way we can legally finish the build without the barrel/hand guard/gas tube assy.

-Barrels shouldn't be prohib as they are multi-platform.
-Gas tube is, well, a tube.
-Hand guard has no mechanical function.

The rest can be sourced without a hitch. Buffer tube etc.

Reading the OIC, there is not mention that barrels, bolts, or any other external or internal parts of the upper receiver are prohib. You should be GTG.

Why is the stag 10 prohibited? It’s not an AR, it has its own FRT. Is it named in the ban list?

California laws have handguards, muzzle devices, pistol grips, butt stocks as being prohibited so having the upper prohibited is not the beginning.

As the communication states as things displace things they will make adjustments. Count on it.

The OIC criterias are arbitrary and overeaching and I believe this is the best avenue to fight it in court.

The "firearm capable of accepted a large capacity magazine" criteria is a moot point, since magazine capacities are already regulated.
The "sustain a high rate of fire" is also fallacious : all semi-autos can maintain the same high rate of fire. So this criteria either applies to all semi-autos or none of them. And since semi-autos are allowed in legislation, regulations like an OIC cannot make changes to this type of gun.
The "more than a thousand on the market" is arbitrary and has no impact on the risk a specific model poses. It puts a gun owner at risk of losing his gun simply due to more people legally buying the same firearm. Popularity doesn't increase the functionnal lethality of an object.

So these, both as individual and combined criterias for deciding which guns get banned, is completely absurd and senseless.
