    Keep the Tremor Going

    Hi Cadex,

I'm really bothered by the demise of the Tremor by the OIC. I'm hoping you guys come up with something creative to keep the legend going. It would be neat if you guys still offered it, same frame size/action but go to a 416 Barret or something. Any chance you guys will consider keeping the Tremor around in Canada?

    Long live the Tremor!

Sorry, but the .416 Barrett is capable of over 10,000PSI or 7,375 Ft-lbs muzzle energy, so it is banned too. It can push a 398gr solid to over 8,700ft lbs. They banned by energy, then added a few names and calibers on the list for clarity: they did not ban by name or calibre.

    So is the .375 CheyTac (7,700 ft-lbs) and .408 Chey Tac (8,300 ft-lbs).

Basically they pushed long range larger diameter competition shooting down to .338 Lapua Mag as a maximum energy. Yes, there might be other cartridges I am not thinking of, but they are not as common.

Liberals just bent you over... don't blame me for clarifying.

I realy hope i'm wrong but by my calculation 10 000 joules = 7375 ft-lb of muzzle energy. That would mean no more : .416 barret , .408/.375 Cheytac or .375 enablr.

I realy hope that it is not the case.

Wow. I didnt realize the 10,000 Joules reached down to the 375's. This is getting worse by the minute. I guess never mind my post!

I can't imagine the value of all the rifles over 10,000 Joules added up in Canada. it must be a staggering amount of money Trudeau has committed tax payers to dull out.

Just clarifying, because I was trying to figure it out today.

So - 338 Lapua is OK under these new idiot laws?
