TROY PAR/SAR kits as opposed to full rifles

    Hey!

I know it isn't on their website but you guys obviously have a business relationship with Troy.

Has it been talked about? There are a lot of people around here with parts they would happily put on NR SAR/PAR actions. I feel like there is a lot of money to be made there.

    Thanks in advance!

That thread is talking about full rifles. I am talking about the potential to move AR 15 parts we already have to new receivers/actions.

Ya, I got that. I'm just not convinced you're going to get stripped kits as apposed to full rifles. Sure there's a few parts you could take from an AR and use to throw together one of these but there's a ton of proprietary stuff in these rifles.

Well I am glad to have some discussion over it. That may well be the case, I just don't know the truth of it.

...and as per the decree, once they see these have replaced our ARs, they'll take them too.

They might be able to cut a deal with SFRC if it is large scale and viable.

There is another Canadian company working on a bolt action receiver set that takes more of your AR parts than the Troy ever would.

I've seen it and it's interesting also. But I think it is worth exploring all the options at this point.
