I don't know which is sadder, the OIC itself or that out of 2.something million PAL holders, only 10% have bothered to sign this petition.

The saddest part is that percentage is most likely even lower than %10 because I personally know 3 non-PAL holders who have signed it after I sent it to them.

I suspect the Libs knew this when they dared to pull this crap on us.

Canadians are in the process of gradually losing their freedoms. I feel for the 202,000 citizens who see this ban for what it is.

As for the other 35,000,000, when their turn comes to cram into a cattle car, I won’t shed a tear. Those who do not speak up against injustice and tyranny, deserve to reap what they sow.

Ye gods.... in the CBC? That's the second sympathetic opinion post they'vr printed. Already 1400+ comments. As dismissive as many are of the CBC, it is ever-so-slilghtly heartening that these articles appear because it does present our side of the argument to many people who are utterly clueless about shooting sports in general and only see us as a bunch of "gun-loving, 'baccy-chewing hooligans." As has ben stated many times before on CGN, education is ultimately one of our best defences against the ridiculous stereotype that has been foisted on them. Thanks for posting.
