Range 519 and Sanctuary Gun Club Partner to Offer Unique Experiences

Range 519, which will eventually occupy the same facility as Select Shooting Supplies, has partnered with Sanctuary Gun Club in Old Fields, West Virginia to offer members who opt to add the option of a stateside range membership to their membership package unique shooting sports experiences.

Lodging is available on sight at the facility, which is an eight-hour drive from where Range 519 is located in Cambridge, Ontario, or an hour and 40 minute drive from Dulles Airport.

Brilliant! That's thinking out of the box. Maybe we can get some help from fellow shooters in the US to fight for our cause.

Also, get some real shooting time in! Might be worth it for a long weekend getaway.

This is really neat idea and I’ll certainly read up on it.

We are two years away from the amnesty expiring and a lot can happen in that time. Legislation has not been written to outline anything.

That being said, a membership at Sanctuary will give the ability to export property there for storage with the proper process followed and fees incurred. But we aren't there yet.

I know now is not the time and I have donated to the organizations. But I want to get an idea how it works in case it comes to this. I think i just read a thread that U.S. general doesn’t allow importation of ar15. So how can we store our guns in a U.S. range? Is there a way to work around it?

Unlikely to be onside of US laws. Form 6 NIA is used for temporary import of firearms (meant to return to Canada with you).

As IRG has commented in their thread....AR15 parts cannot be permanently imported into the US.
