If a guy gets caught shooting paper targets on his own property today, with a modern sporter..
Is he getting his rifle confiscated and/or is going to prison?
I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere.

Well, what do you call a government that criminalize a whole bunch of Canadians...
- And doesn't care to provide any empirical data support their action
- Use a situation where a nutcase not only broke every single gun control laws in the book, but used a smuggled gun... and the government use that as a justification to punish me
- Doesn't dare bring it up in parliament, instead goes about it the backdoor way.
- Keeps on referring to AR15 as "assault" rifles... when in fact they are "semi-automatic" rifles
- Says that no-one needs those type of rifles... yet walks around all day surrounded by individuals carrying "real" assault rifles?

The Liberals nor Bill Blair know what a Macabee SLR or ATRS Modern Sporter are, they were banned because the lab itself wanted them banned.
Murray doing this is 100% believable, the kiss-ass wanted to impress his bosses before collecting his retirement pensions..

I very much doubt any RCMP are even aware of any of this. Considering it's in a private, ever-changing FRT and no notice has been given to owners, I very much doubt this would hold up in court if it came down to it (which it likely wouldn't).

Firearms legal defence is always a good back up plan.
The RCMp are not talking, the CFC is not talking and to date we have received absolutely ZERO info/correspondence or anything useful insofar as intel from any official capacity. I find this odd for a truly transparent regime.

Well, if that’s the case I’m going to carry on as usual. Until I get a letter in the mail or they update the OIC to include the sporter I will continue to use it as if none of this has happened. And really, what has even happened? Nothing that can be coherently explained by anyone it seems
