It has come to our attention that there are more than a few LE agents trying to run sting operations on purchases of various newly prohibited firearms, ours included.
I believe it would be prudent for anyone attempting to purchase from any EE, Gun Post, Town Post etc. to exercise EXTREME caution in any attempted transactions especially on deals that are conducted online from unknown sources, it could well be a trap.

I think we should be more focused on holding policy makers accountable rather than turn this LE bashing party. Unfortunately it is law (hopefully temporarily) and it shouldn't be surprising that those who break it will be punished
 
I have no animosity in general towards law enforcement. To any law enforcement that support what is going on, do no expect a warm welcome from gun owners when you treat them as criminals.

If you are reading this, and are a LE officer, remember, following orders is no excuse for tyranny. The Nazis were still rightfully tried as war criminals, even though they were just following orders. You will be remembered and marred with the same disgust as we have for them as long as you live.

gun owners are trying to peacefully live their lives without being harassed by the armed wing of the state.

Cops are just an armed gang who WILL ####ING KILL YOU if you dont hand in your guns. lol big difference. I dont feel bad for them.
 
I have no use for all of the "Cops are pigs" crap. The orders come from above and the boots on pavement have orders to follow, like it or not. There are many LE on CGN who are shoulder to shoulder with us in our fight against Trudeau. Good family men that hunt, teach their kids how to shoot at the range and on Crown land. Good people that risk their lives to fight against the #######s that commit the crimes that led to the BS justification of the bans.

It also kills me how many of the "hard core" Rambo's and HA Support wearing fanboys who own a crappy Sportster and can name a member that knows nothing about them to feel in touch with the big boys, are the same that call 911 when they get smacked by someone bigger than them (as they tell the story).

Yup, there are some real jacked up power hungry jerk-offs and over-compensaring female cops out there that deserve our disgust for their behaviour and tainting what is supposed to be the food name of LE, but lumping them all in the same category is no better than Trudeau lumping us in with the criminals with stolen guns kiling each other to push his crooked agenda.

ATRS needs to pass the details on to CCFR, CSSA, NFA etc and also to the few friendly MPs we have. The gov't has to be confronted on making hidden changes and running stings on uninformed people.

Obviously there are good cops that would not do this. However, maybe if they do not want to be lumped in with the others they should say something? Being silent doesn't cut it. Being silent is what brings tyranny. Even if it's now the 'law' it doesn't mean they need to make criminals of good guys over something that has been legal since the inception of this country...until a few weeks ago.

Thats all dandy bud, but if the same cops are kicking in your door, pointing guns are your wife and kids to enforce the orders from higher up, theyre no different. They can talk all they want on CGN. They should put their money where their mouth is and speak up their Chain of Command.

Millions of gun owners in this country do not read the Gazette.

A lot of the changes are in the live FRT only (not specifically named in the gazette), and no one but law enforcement and verifiers knows what's in that.
We've been getting drips of changes on Twitter/Facebook from people who happen to spot a change in the sea of 130,000 or so FRT descriptions.

Mr. Tomlinson: Another major problem is Orders in Council. One can be charged with violating an Order in Council. Over 30 Orders in Council have been issued since 1998. Some provisions of the law have been changed six times by a series of Orders in Council. A beautiful example that we have found of what the results of that are is a copy of Regina v. Rusk. Mr. Rusk was charged in 1999 with storing his firearms illegally because he stored his guns with his ammunition. His lawyer argued that the guns were not actually with the ammunition, and that the ammunition was a short distance away. They bounced up and down, arguing about the language of regulation number 4. The entire case went through its full length. The judge eventually ruled in favour of the defence. To this day no one, the judge, the Crown or the defence lawyer, is aware that regulation 4 died in 1998, and was replaced by regulation 5 of a different set of regulations with a different title and different wording.

They spent all that time and money arguing about a case based on a regulation that did not exist. As I said, they have issued over 30 Orders in Council. There is no book of Orders in Council. The only way one can keep track of the Orders in Council is to subscribe to Part II of the Canada Gazette. Crown prosecutors do not do that; lawyers do not do that; and judges do not do that and. It is absolutely and utterly impossible for anyone in the entire legal system to be certain what the regulations are.

sorry man but "any" cop who chooses to be part of enforcing Trudeau's new gun prohibitions rather than quit their job on the spot, is not standing shoulder to shoulder with us and are the lowest form of filth there is.

Who created this ban? Bill Blair, the former Chief of Police for Toronto
Who refused to confirm the Nova Scotia shooters license status? Brenda Lucki, the current commissioner of the RCMP
Who supported this ban? Mark Saunders, the current Chief of Police for Toronto
Who also supported this ban? Harjit Sajjan, a former police officer
Who enacted this ban? The RCMP. Say what you want about the liberals, but they dont know wtf the Macabee SLR or the ATRS Modern Sporter are, they were entirely banned because of the RCMP.
Who will come take your guns? Your local police agency

Obviously good cops exist, but that doesn't change the fact that the cops are the ones screwing us here. All the way from the top to bottom.

If they are indeed good people, they need to stand up and declare - PUBLICLY, either as an individual or as a group through their unions / associations - that they will not enforce this order. That they will passively disobey any order to disarm licensed firearms owners who were otherwise behaving lawfully. They need to RESIST, not obey.

Bingo. I'd say they wouldn't have to quit if they did a "work to rule" thing and simply refused to enforce the OIC. And by that I mean PUBLICLY refuse to enforce it, declaring to the media that they won't enforce it. They can't fire every single cop, they can't even fire 20% of them. That sort of principled stand would sort out the good cops from the jerks pretty simply.

So, to all cops on CGN:

We're waiting. Show us you're on our side. Post your real name, dept and badge, and publicly declare you won't enforce the OIC. You could put it in your sig. But until you do so, I will not consider you my ally.
