Guess the battery compartment is on the bottom of the optic ? Making it necessary to remove it from the firearm and requiring a re zero?

    From manual:

    BATTERY
This sight includes a 3-volt battery (CR2032). To replace the battery, loosen the two center screws to uninstall the optic. Remove the old battery from the underside of the optic, and replace with a new battery. The "+" side should point upwards. (For maximum battery life, the use of high-quality lithium batteries is recommended). Confirm that the optic powers on, then power the optic off and reinstall. Confirm the zero of the optic. (Because of the locking adjustment screws, major POI shift should not occur, but minor shifts can be expected from removing and reinstalling any optic).

    Hi Kyle,
You can put it on a shotgun .
We would recommend a something better if it was for constant use.
