Are you doing what Ed Burlew suggested in another thread: "file an Application for a declaration under the Constitution Act with the court and then proceed to a trail on the issues of validity"?

According to Ed Burlew, that would cost a million dollars to litigate...
I am getting literally hundreds of personal e-mails offering support, this is great, don't stop. Please make your e-mails to me in the form of a statement of how this OIC has affected you. Sign it and provide your address and phone number. I plan to attach all your letters to my own affidavit as supporting evidence.
Sorry but I will not have time to reply to everyone.
How about those of us that enjoyed hunting with our M14 pattern rifles?
NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST TO DISCLOSE “Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” Cesare Beccaria
John,
Do you think that there is a valid discriminatory aspect to the OIC which could be leveraged in court, based on the fact that the government has banned the very rifle (AR15) that makes participation in the shooting sports achievable and enjoyable for youth, females and those of both sexes with physical disabilities? It strikes me that of all potential firearms, the AR15 is the lightest, best-balanced, most adaptable and least recoiling design of the bunch. Those characteristics make the "Modern Sporting Rife" particularly suitable for folks like me who are confined to a wheelchair. Can the fact that the Government of Canada is now denying me the use of my AR15s (and variants), be considered discriminatory against a persons with physical disabilities?
