On your site it lists as only working with mags with "extended feed lips". Does it work 100% with x39 XCR mags?
Too bad about the .300blk....I have that one too and would love to be able to use my AR mags in it.

That only applies to the AICS version of the chassis. If you have a Ruger American with Mini 30 magazines or AR-15 magazines then your good to go with the LSS-XL for the Ruger American short action AR.

confirmed that this works. Yes, I did spend $1000 for a chassis for a 7.62x39 bolt gun I paid $550 for.... But its my money and I'll waste it how i like! Rifle is about 28 inches long with the muzzle brake with the stock folded. No issues feeding from 10 round 7.62x39 mags.

That looks great! How is length of pull with folding adapter? I just did same setup on my rifle and it feels a bit long.

So wait the Ruger Ranch x39 in the LSS takes AR x39 mags or mini 30 mags ? The big turn off to the ranch x39 for me was using the mini 30 mags so I bought a 300blk AR version instead

if you put it in the LSS XL AR chasis it takes AR x39 mags. In its original stock it takes mini 30 mags.

I took some of the adjusters out of the stock and it feels ok. I did have to move my scope way back to get the eye relief set up ok. I do have long Sasquatch arms though...

Really ! Wow they need to make stuff like that more clear on their website HAHA

With the popularity of the Ranch in Canada they are missing out on some sales i'm sure

Thank you for the feedback, the version of the chassis is called the LSS-XL for a Ruger American short action AR.
