    wish my vest was a touch wider at the chest, could easily go 14" lengthwise but don't think 11" is fitting towards the top

    Here is the photo of the plate. The texture you see on it is the covering material. We use a rip stop fabric just to make sure that everything holds together for as long as possible. Picture with the stickers will come soon.

    If these were put in front of a bare ar500 plate would they act as antispall?

    Yes and no. they would stop any spall that came off the front. But any that where travelling along the surface perpendicular to the plate specifically close to the edges would still get by.
