    No what we meant is that we wanted to bring production from China to Canada. This is the first item that we are beginning to manufacture here.

    These are going to be made out of PE to keep weight and price down as well as increase the lifetime of the armor. And yes these are being built in house.

    If a politician’s life is worth armed guards, why aren't our children's lives worth the ability for us to give them the same level of protection?

    In my experience, uhmwpe is almost a magical material. I’m a little biased as I’m not an author in this paper but I am acknowledged. I did a bunch of the ultra high impact (ballistics) testing. https://science.sciencemag.org/content/366/6467/875

    They could. Theoretically it makes sense but each icw plate is meant to work with one specific type of soft armor usually manufactured by the same company. But conceptually they should still work.

    What really sells us on PE over aramid is the fact that it doesn’t degrade over time and in adverse conditions the same way aramid does. Along with being a little lighter.

    Well, if there's a sapi cut I'm pretty interested at that price.
