Serious. I'm probably doing better financially than a lot of people, and I can't afford to give what Id like to. I've donated to all of the different legal action funds (CCFR, JR from TSE, Rick from ATRS, John Hipwell. Might be missing one?). I would have loved to be able to donate $500 to each, but it's just not in the cards right now.

IMHO the people who can't afford to donate but still gave a few bucks anyways are not the people deserving of ridicule. Those people are worthy of far more respect and gratitude than the people who think they are better than them.

Thank you to all who have donated. Especially the ones who couldn't afford to but did anyways.

Not on any high horse, but when those same people most likely have thousands of dollars tied up in ammo and rifles that can be taken from them in the next two years and our only fighting chance is now with a big gun lobby group and some amazingly run shops taking it to the liberals, I would hope that the fight is worth more then $5 regardless of what’s going on. That’s all I’m trying to say. The fact that everyone chirps on here about saving our community and we only have 30K in two weeks. We are not going to get another chance so if my comments spark some people to think twice and go out and donate a little more I’m happy to get cussed out in some comments.

    Thanks for your time

I have 25K worth of guns/ammo/gear that are now banned ! What's your point ? I bought all that #### when I was doing well financially. Im making 50K less a year then I did 3 years ago. Im donating what I can every paycheck, last paycheck al I had left was 25$ in my account after bills, so I sent it of to ATRS.

But looking at all the #### I have you assume I have money and you are verry wrong.

And I’m not saying people need to give up the farm to donate. And you can give more over time. And I’m not trying to make fun of people going through hardship as everyone is at this point. How I said my Original comment maybe came across that way, and people are right that at least they donated. I’m just frustrated that we have 218000 members on this site. If we had a dollar from each member, well you get where I’m going.

Now to the cgn moderators, could there be a system where we get charged $5-$10-$20 or whatever per year to be on this site where 75 percent of that money goes to legal battles like CCFR, ATRS, shooting Edge, and etc are putting on. Just a thought to generate revenue quickly.

C'mon guys/gals these donations are to unite the gun community and show solidarity, let's not decide what amount of donations should be put forward. Each $1 is one more step forward to the goal.

    Copied from facebook:

Thank you everyone for the incredible support!

We have exceeded $30,000 dollars on our GoFundMe campaign, with cheques and in store donations that puts us beyond the 1/3rd mark of our fundraising goal!

We realize these are difficult times for all of us, and can't over state the immense gratitude we have for all of the support.
