    i cant find anything on the manufacturer, i have also never seen Kevlar and aluminum oxide without ceramic on lv 4 plates, are you sure these are the correct specs? the plate in the second picture down is a pistol rated plate so the label on the back was no help

    Yea thecpost was a bit rushed.
    They are alum ceramic and kevlar
    Standard make up that most hard plates are
    Yes the label on one photo is of the soft armour.
    We will have more photos and info shortly .
    I'm at home sick right now so doing what I can.

    Looks like it’s per plate. I guess the RCMP doesn’t care about the lower backs of their officers... or figures they will be sitting most of the time.

    Do these need to be used in combination with soft armour to achieve lvl 4 rating?

    no per plate, as it ceramic, that ads to the weight
    there are no LIV plates that are that light.
    2.6 to 3.3 are the standard weight for full size 10x12 plates
    unless u want to get into some 1500-2000 a set range

    no these are SAP full stand alone plates
