    i felt the same about my savage i just got......i was hoping the ruger would be better......they are both the first and only bolt guns i own......the ruger has not arrived yet.... i welcome the high cap mags for it and may sell the savage.....

    This Ruger makes me appreciate Savage bolt actions more.

    Loose, rattly bolt. Handle discolored on some places. QC seems weak on this one but I still can’t wait to shoot it

    You will be pleasantly surprised by the accuracy. Still doing load development for mine but it shows great potential. I got the 7.62x39 version.

    Question on Canadian law ?

    If it’s mechanically driven / fed like a pump gun / shotgun or bolt gun can you have greater than 5 round cap mag ?

    And yeah interested in this rifle

    What've you been browsing here for 10 years and not come across this ?

    Ar15 mag has to be pinned to 5. Doesnt matter if it's a bolt action.

    Lar15 mag is a 10 shot pistol mag. Should work fine.
