Correct. And Albertans are dreaming if they think having their own CFO will make much difference.
Some bureaucrat who could face liability and lose their job is not going to start green lighting ATTs for hunting purposes or cutting ATCs to everyone who asks. They are going to stick to the script.
Further, if Alberta wanted to just stop enforcing the firearms act they could do it now.
