what exactly is this committee supposed to accomplish? figure out a way for Alberta to challenge the OIC or use their provincial jurisdiction to loop hole the OIC...what?

A great announcement and foundation for true representation regarding firearms retailers, owners and enthusiasts in Alberta. It is the beginning so lets do it right, work together and do not let minor differences or irritants derail the fundamental objectives at hand.

The committee chosen appears to be balanced and representative of those with a true understanding of firearms & common sense approach.

Never understood why an anti-anything or professional survivor is placed on a committee they are vehemently opposed to.

and appoint a more socialist authoritarian liberal than the one Ottawa appoints, because that's what BC likes.
I will ignore every person here that actively or passively supports the liberal party, support or are friends with Justin Turdhole, and any legislation aimed at increasing gun control. I will never purchase nor sell any items from/to those individuals.

    short answer:

The Alberta Firearms Advisory Committee, chaired by UCP MLA Michaela Glasgo, will consult on and recommend provincial policy with a mandate to protect law-abiding Albertans’ responsible firearms ownership.
