    Are those set screws nylon tipped?
    Mine is not.
    I'm fine with using an all steel set screw.

    The nylon tipped style will avoid any scratches, so theoretically they are better.

    A little wad of Teflon tape would do the same if no nylon tip screws weren’t handy and you were worried about it.
