Oops you are correct because I purchased stainless steel ones to slow the wearing down.

So I took my Frankenstein gun out. I don’t know if I rushed putting it all together but was having a lot of fail to fire. Probably 3 out of 5 shots each time. And trying to pull the carrier back after the misfire has left my hand black and blue, I would hear a dreaded “click” rack it and try again. Even force closing the bolt still led to misfires. I’m going to take it apart and give it a good cleaning again. Maybe try my S&W bolt vs my new Brownells I used for it. But out of my 16” barrel I got ok grouping at 100 yards.

That doesn't sound or look right.

    Ps. Nice looking build!
