    2) The bolt catch retaining screw cannot be tightened all the way or it binds the bolt catch. Adjust it out till the bolt catch moves freely and leave it. It won't back out.

Sorry I have not put mine together but I have the DPMS LPK and it says nothing about a bolt catch retaining screw (maybe its there i just not sure). Do I have to purchase separately?

The bolt catch retaining screw comes with the receiver set. I used a DPMS LPK and other than trimming the front takedown spring as mentioned, had no issues during assembly.

Check out the relevant threads on the ATRS model.

A friend of mine said that it has more to do with the magazine (and potentially the manner in which the magazine has been pinned) than the magwell itself.

Figure out which mags yours seems to like.

Mine is together and functioning but will not hold open with magpul magazines. Is this normal - steel mags works fine. And I did keep the bolt catch screw loosend back a few turns as suggested above.

Edit - I backed it out alot more and now it seems to be working better, should I put on loktite as it seems like it may back out.

I just want to comment on the reciever set. Everything was interchangeable. However, the dust cover need the round rod that uses the c clip (The C clip wouldnt be needed).

Only problem i have is the bolt catch. It works with an empty mag. But if I do this manually, i would need to pull all the way back, very very hard.

Apologies, I don't have enough time to go through this entire thread. Is this receiver set still being produced?

Mine came with a rusty somewhat unfinished (like a raw light grey not black) rear take down "pin", possible to get a replacement?

Mine were grey as well. They are not black from my experience.
