    T21 is a proprietary alloy incorporating fragments of Titanium Carbide throughout the material. The result is harder, denser & more abbrasion resistant than AR500. Being harder it is therefore louder than any other alloy we have tried. And, you are correct as hanger design also plays a key role in target reactivity and auditory feedback, which has proven to be enormous
    when combined with the ability to use on any size T post.

    If you want the most sound and reactivity order the 1/4" but up close and with magnums the targets will get beat up a bit....but last 500 they are all very solid.

    They are saying it will hold up to rifle use, so some slow moving blunt projectiles will have the similar effect as a wack with a hammer... lol

    We would use 3/8" under 450yrds
    And 1/4" past 450yrds
