The letter you have received from the RCMP is filled with a bunch of misinformation. Approx. 10% of
the firearms that have been banned by way of the OIC are admissible for permanent import into the U.S.
AR-15 or AR-10 platforms, or any variants, can not be reimported into the U.S even if they were made within the U.S Commerce. This includes any components of the above-mentioned firearms. Please read the conditions below:
There are several ways we can help you with the current issues that have resulted by way of the OIC that was brought forth by the Minority Liberal Government.
There are two types of firearms that qualify for import into the U.S for storage and/or resale:
1. Sold or mitigated by IRUNGUNS -
• If IRUNGUNS was involved in the export or mitigation of the above-mentioned AR-15/AR-10 firearms, variants of, or any other firearm transaction we have been involved in, are eligible for re-entry into the U.S. We have the ability to reimport them into the U.S for storage or resale once they are transferred back into our Canadian business inventory.
• These firearms that we mitigated or sold will not require importer’s markings to be returned to the U.S.
2. All other firearms that were NOT sold or imported by IRUNGUNS -
• If the firearm was acquired by any other means other than through IRUNGUNS, for example willed, purchased, gifted, private sale, commercial sale and so on, it will require permanent import into the U.S. to either be sold or stored.
• You will require importer’s marking on your firearm, no exceptions, unless it is pre 1900 as they are classed as antiques and do not require the importer markings to be engraved on the firearm.
• Your firearm will also have to meet the classification of “sporting firearm” to be accepted into the U.S Commerce if we were not involved in the transaction. To determine how they classify it as a “Sporting Firearm”, please refer to this link

All firearms will require importation services into the U.S. Please see this link which will guide you through the process once you are ready to move forward.

If you are importing the firearm for storage into the United States, IRUNGUNS will return the firearm to Canada on the same import form so there will be no extra fees, other than the Canadian shipping to your address through Canada Post once the firearm is back in Canada.
Storage:
If you would like IRUNGUNS to securely store your firearm in our AZ facility until such time as when the OIC is defeated or overturned, it will be the following fees:
$20.00 USD per month for handguns
$25.00 USD per month for rifles
This will be payable the first of every month or you can prepay for the year if you like.
You will not be able to come down to Arizona and go shooting with your firearms. U.S law does not permit it.
If we lose contact with you and you miss 3 payments we will be forced to list your firearm, recoup our costs and mail you a check in USD for the balance to the last known address on file.
Transfer to another US person or company:
Should you wish to transfer your firearm or firearms to another person or company within the U.S there is a one-time fee of $25.00USD for an FFL transfer of each firearm.
Sell your Firearm in the U.S:
We will only be selling your firearm on www.gunbroker.com unless we have someone local who is interested.
1. We will take 3 pictures of the firearm and list it on Gunbroker, YOU will be responsible to write the ad. You will also be provided with a copy of the listing once everything is completed.
2. All correspondence from the listing will be forwarded to you so you may answer the questions that may come up.
3. Your sale price must be reasonable, we recommend cost averaging 3 current listings and going from there prior to having us sell your firearm.
4. You will be responsible for all listing fees associated with your sale.
5. Once the firearm is paid for and delivered you will receive payment in U.S funds for the balance after all disbursements and costs associated with your listing are paid.
6. Please be aware once your firearm is listed on Gunbroker you will be unable to cancel the sale, so please make sure you are committed.
7. We will retain 15% of the sale price of your firearm should you wish to utilize this service.
