I have one of these (not this specific model) and love it...but it has 2 minor issues.

1. Thumbing out the mag is a little difficult for me due to the stock. My wrist hits the frame and I can't quite get to the mag release. Have to left thumb it out. (short thumb?)

2. Scopes. Without a charging handle, if you mount a scope that's on the lower side, I found it difficult to rack the slide without it looking like I was having some sort of spaz attack.

Other than those, mine is great! Accurate and handles like a charm.

(E)

Rumour, the rifle is to be discontinued in 2021. Like both of mine, accurate. Bought a Tandemkross Halo to help with the bolt

Had one that developed a slide stop issue, basically the grip was not exactly flat with the frame, causing the slide stop to ride outside the cutout groove causing frame damage.

In order to drop slide, you had to pull the slide back and drop the slide stop with the other hand then let the slide slingshot forward. I got rid of it.

The only firearm I sold that I missed. Love my buckmark camper pistol though.

I had the exact same problem. But the guys at Browning more than made up for it. They are truly awesome.

How did they fix it, replace the frame?

In hindsight, I was thinking about welding a blob and then taking a dremel and reshape/fix the groove damage.

Let me just say it's worth it to give them a call about it. I called on the off chance they might have some insight on the issue, or optimistically even send me the part. But the customer service from Browning is truly above and beyond. I'm on the lookout for a new rifle for hunting season, and my choices are now narrowed down to Browning and Winchester (because they're also Browning now haha).
